BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong  over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 03rd July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered  in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay,  Magway Regions, fairly widespread in  Bago Region and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon  States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35-40) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (9-11) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States.
