BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 01st July, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Rakhine, Kayah States, scattered in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Bago Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35-40) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (5-7) feet in off and along Rakhine Coast.
