SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kayah State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Yangon Region and Kachin State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (3.70) inches in Mogaung, (3.62) inches in Yangon(Botahtaung), (2.76) inches in Myaungmya, (2.56) inches in Taungoo(Avia-Met), (2.17) inches in Minesat, (1.99) inches in Einme, (1.93) inches in Bhamo, (1.73) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit, (1.69) inches in Kyeikkhame and (1.61) inches in Myitkyina.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States.
