BAY INFERENCE:  Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Magway Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30 - 35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and (5-7) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak to moderate monsoon.
