BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 24th June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Kayah States  and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30 - 35) mph. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and (4-7) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of increase of rain in Kachin and Rakhine States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 24th June, 2023:  One or two rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (100%).
FORECAST FOR YANGON AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 24th June, 2023:     Some rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (100%).
FORECAST FOR MANDALAY AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 24th June, 2023:  Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (100%).
WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR WEEKEND: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and widespread in Yangon Region.
