BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions, scattered in Mandalay Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Kachin, Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) mph. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and (4-7) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
