SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Northern and Southern) Shan State, fairly widespread in Bago Regoin and Chin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (5.24) inches in Ye, (4.80) inches in Kyeikkhame, (3.07) inches in Launglon, (2.91) inches in Thaton, (2.87) inches in Chaungsone, (2.64) inches in Putao, (2.50) inches in Ngaputaw, (2.37) inches in Kawthaung, (2.32) inches each in Manaung, Myaungmya and Paung Byin and (2.20) inches in Mudon.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States.
