BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Southeast Bangladesh weaken into a Low Pressue Area. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 11th June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be Scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah nState, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago Regions and Kayin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and isolated heavyfalls in Upper sagaing, Yangon Region and Kachin, Mon States.Degree of certainty is (100%).
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus cloudsaredeveloping in the Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40)mph. Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40) mph. Wave height will be about (9-12) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (7 - 9) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast.
