SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, southwest monsoon has advanced into the whole Country. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, scattered in Mandalay Region and Southern Shan State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, AyeyarwadyRegoins and Northern Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and isolated heavyfalls in Kayin, Mon States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (6.77) inches in Launglon, (6.18) inches in Dawei, (5.99) inches in Thaton, (5.00) inches in Myeik, (3.03) inches in Shan YwarThit, (2.95) inches in Ye, (2.36) inches in Pon Na Gyun, (2.29) inches each in Maungdaw and Taungkok and (2.09) inches in Belin.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Northest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Southeast of Bangladesh coast - North Rakhine Coastal of Myanmar still persist. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region,fairly widespread inLower Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon, AyeyarwadyRegionsand (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood ofregionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and isolated heavyfalls in Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan,Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.Degree of certainty is (100%).
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus cloudsaredeveloping in the Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA:Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) to (45) mph. Wave height will be about (9-13) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
