BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Northeast Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea, South Bay, Eastcentral Bay and Northeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 10th June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scatted in Naypyitaw ,Upper Sagaingan,Mandalay and Kayah State and fairly widespread in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfallsin Upper Sagaing, Magway , Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in the Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin,(Northern and Easthern) Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) mph. Wave height will be about (9-12) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of advancement of Southwest monsoon into the Northern Myanmar areas.
