BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea, South Bay, Eastcentral Bay and Northeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
Special Feature Condition: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure cell over Northeast and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and Northeast Bay of Bengal now lies over still persists.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 09th June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Kayah State, fairly widespread in Sagaing , Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) mph. Wave height will be about (9-12) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
