BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
Special Feature Condition: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure cell over the Northeast Bay and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Due to the low pressure cell, monsoon is strong to vigorous and rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Lower Sagaing, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Rakhine States with likelihood of regionally and isolated heavyfalls.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 08th June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin, Kayah States and fairly widespread in Upper sagaing region and Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Kayin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus cloudsaredeveloping in the Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at time off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35-40) mph. Wave height will be about (9-11) feet in off and along Myanmar Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Increase of rain in Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
