SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Magway, BagoRegoins and Northern Shan, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (3.54) inches in Dwaei, (3.50) inches in Launglon, (2.76) inchesin Hainggyigyun, (2.44) inches in Yangon(Botahtaung), (2.36) inches in Manaung, (2.09) inches in Kyeikkhame, (2.05) inches in NyaungShwe, (2.00) inches in Kyaukhtu, (1.92) inches in Yangon(Manyangon) and (1.85) inches in Coco Island.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
Special Feature Condition:According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure cell over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Due to the low pressure cell, monsoon is strong to vigorous and rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Lower Sagaing, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Rakhine States with likelihood of regionally and isolated heavyfalls.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 08th June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread inNaypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood ofregionallyheavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus cloudsaredeveloping in the whole country. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at time off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35-40) mph. Wave height will be about (9-11) feet in off and along Myanmar Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
