BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
Special Feature Condition: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure cell has formed over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Due to the low pressure cell, monsoon is strong to vigorous and rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 07th June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Magway Region and Kachin, Kayah States, farily widespread in Mandalay Region and Chin, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine State.Degree of certainty is (100%).
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus cloudsaredeveloping in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at time off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35-40) mph. Wave height will be about (9-11) feet in off and along Myanmar Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Increase of rain in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
