SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Yangon Regoins and Kachin, Chin, Kayah, Mon states, fairly widespread in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (2.60) inches in Thaton, (2.56) inches in Sagaing, (2.50) inches in Myittha, (2.24) inches in Kyaukse(Lunkyaw), (2.05) inches in Katha, (2.00) inches in Okpho, (1.97) inches in Myinmu, (1.77) inches each in Myauk U and Phyu and (1.73) inches in Myitnge.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 04th June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and (Southern and Eastern) Shan State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States.Degree of certainty is (100%).

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus cloudsaredeveloping in the Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway,Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35) mph. Wave height will be about (9-11) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Widespread rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
