BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs MST today, the Typhoon “Mawar” over Philippines Sea has moved North-Northeastwards. It is likely forecast continue to move North-Northeastwards.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 1st June, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon Regions and Chin, Kayah States, scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region. Degree of certainty is (100%).

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing over the Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35)mph. Wave height will be about (9-11) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of thundery activities in the Central Myanmar areas.
