SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State, scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Kayin States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and widespread inKachin, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States. Day temperatures were (4°C) above May average temperature in Taninthayi Region and (2°C) above May average temperature in Yangon Region and (2°C) below May average temperatures in Magway Region and Kayah State, (3°C) below May average temperatures Upper Sagaing Region and Kayin state, (7°C) below May average temperature in Kachin State and about May average temperature in the Remaining Regions and States.The significant day temperatures were (37°C) in Gangaw and (36°C)each in Myinmu, NyaungOo, Yamethin, Tada U(Aviation), Taungdwingyi, Bago, Yangon(Mayangon), Myaungmya and Myeik. The noteworthyamounts of rainfall recorded were (2.01) inches in Taungkok, (1.97) inches in Chaungsone, (1.50) inches in Mawlamyine, (1.46) inches inMonyin, (0.87) inch in Tamu and (0.79) inch in Paung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
