SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway Region, scattered in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern shan, Chin States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah state and widespread in the Remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region. Day temperatures were (4°C) above May average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C) below May average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine, Kayin States, (3°C) to (4°C) below May average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and (Northern and Southern) Shan, Chin states, (5°C) to (6°C) below May average temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah States and (8°C) below May average temperature in Kachin State and about May average temperature in the Remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (38°C) in Myeik and (36°C) each in Hpasaung, Hpa-an and Kawthaung. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (5.39) inches in Taungkok, (5.12) inches in Thandwe, (3.54) inches in Kyauktaw, (2.95) inches in Kyaukse, (2.68) inches in Kawkareik, (2.60) inches in Kyeikkhame, (2.24) inches in Mogoke, (2.17) inches in Myauk U, (2.13) inches in Monyin and (2.05) inches in Ann.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
