BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Westcentral Bay and North Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 02nd May, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in (Souther and Eastern) Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago Regions and Chin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
The Condition of Cumulonimbus Cloud: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing over the whole country. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
