SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago Regions and Northern Shan State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) above April average temperatures in Kachin, Eastern Shan and Mon States, (3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin States and (2°C) above April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan, Kayah States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) each in Bawlakhae and Myawaddy and (43°C) each in Shwekyin and Theinzayet. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.39) inch in Shwebo, (0.32) inch in Launglon, (0.23) inch in Monywa, (0.20) inch in Tamu and (0.16) inch in Dawei.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th April, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Kachin, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in Bago Region and Shan, Kayah States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
The Condition of Cumulonimbus Cloud: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing over the Taninthayi Region and Northern Shan, Kayin, Mon States. The area aloung the Cumulonimbus clouds movements, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance there phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State.
