SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Southern Shan, Chin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) above April average temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Sagaing Region and Shan, Chin, Kayah States and (2°C) above April average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Mon States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (45°C) in Chauk, (44°C) each in Myingyan, Bawlakhae and (43°C) each in Monywa, Nyaung Oo, Sinbyugyun and Hpasaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th April, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions.
