SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Sagaing Region and Chin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah States and (2°C) above April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) in Bawlakhae, (43°C) in Hpasaung and (42°C) each in Tamu, Myinmu, Myingyan, Chauk and Taunggu.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th April, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States.
