SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Sagaing Region and Northern Shan, Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above April averagetemperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah States and (2°C) above Aprilaverage temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and about April averagetemperatures in Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) each in Bawlakhae andHpasaung and (42°C) each in Tamu, Myingyan, Chauk, Taungdwingyi, Gangaw, Sinbyugyun and Taunggu. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.19) inch in Kawthaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th April, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in TaninthayiRegion and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
