SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Southern Shan, Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above April average temperature in Naypyitaw, (3°C) below April average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region and (6°C) below April average temperature in Kachin State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (44°C) in Chauk, (42°C) each in Myingyan, Nyaung Oo, Bawlakhae and Hpasaung and (41°C) each in Mandalay, Tatkon, Minbu, Magway and Sinbyugyun. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.12) inch each in Putao and Machanbaw and (0.04) inch each in Falam and Tamu.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 07th April, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
