SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State. Weather has been generally fair in Yangon Region and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) below April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Chauk and (40°C) each in Nyaung Oo, Taungdwingyi, Nyaunglaybin, Bawlakhae and Hpasaung. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.20) inch in Homalin, (0.12) inch each in Machanbaw and Paletwa and (0.08) inch in Puato.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 06th April, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and isolated in Northern Shan, Chin States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
