SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fairly in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) to (6°C) above March average temperatures in Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States, (3°C) to (4°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah State and (2°C) above March average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Southern Shan State and (3°C) below March average temperature in Chin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) each in Chauk, Taungdwingyi, Pyay, Laytatpyin (Pyay), Bawlakhae and Hpasaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and East central Bengal of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th March, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Magway, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
