SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fairly in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (6°C) above March average temperatures in Kayin, Mon States, (3°C) to (4°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions, (2°C) above March average temperatures in Magway Region and Southern Shan, Kayah States and (3°C) to (4°C) below March average temperatures in Kachin, Chin States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) each in Chauk, Bawlakhae and Hpasaung and (39°C) each in Sinbyugyun, Shwekyin, Kawkareik, Myawaddy and Theinzayet.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th March, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
