SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Sagaing Region and Northern Shan, Rakhine States. Weather has been generally fairly in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) to (6°C) above March average temperatures in Bago Region and Kayin, Mon States, (3°C) to (4°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions, (2°C) above March average temperature in Kayah State and (2°C) below March average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region, (4°C) below March average temperature in Kachin State, (6°C) below March average temperature in Chin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) each in Pyay and Hpasaung and (39°C) each in Chauk, Aunglan, Shwekyin and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.35) inch in Myauk U, (0.20) inch in Machanbaw and (0.16) inch in Putao.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th March, 2023: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Shan States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
