SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been scattered in Eastern Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Northern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March average temperature in Mon State and (2°C) below March average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan State and (3°C) below March average temperature in Chin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) in Ngathaichaung and (39°C) each in Chauk, Pyay and Laytatpyin(Pyay). The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.54) inch in Kengtung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and Central Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 05th March, 2023: Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
