SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) below March average temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan, Kayah States, (3°C) below March average temperatures in Magway Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan States and (5°C) below March average temperature in Chin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (38°C) each in Chauk, Pyay and Laytatpyin and (37°C) each in Sagaing, Magway, Nyaung Oo, Tada U (Aviation Met) and Pauk.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and East central Bay of Bengal, a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Southwest Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 02nd March, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
