SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Magway Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago,Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Eastern Shan, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Nighttemperature were (2°C) below February average temperatures in Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Chin State and(2°C) above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, SagaingRegion and Kachin State and about February averagetemperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (3°C) Namsam, (4°C) in Mongyang and (5°C) in Heho. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.56) inch in Putao and (0.43) inch in Machanbaw.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and Central Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudyover the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25thFebruary, 2023:Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%).Weather will be partly cloudyin Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Continuations of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States.
