SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperature were (2°C) below February average temperature in Yangon Region and (2°C) above February average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin State and (3°C) to (4°C) above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (5°C) in Heho, (6°C) in Namsam and (8°C)each in Pinlaung, Loilin and Pyinoolwin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and Central Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd February, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
