SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Yangon Region and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperature were (2°C) below February average temperature in Chin State, (2°C) above February average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region and Kayin State and (3°C) to (4°C) above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw and Southern Shan, Kayah, Mon States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (3°C) in Namsam, (4°C) each in Kyaukmae, Mongyang and (6°C) each in Heho, Loilin, Tiddim.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Southwest Bay, generally fair over the North and Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 07th February, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
