BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Southwestwards and it is centered at about (730) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island, (840) Nautical miles West-Southwest ofHainggyigyun(Myanmar), (80) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and (225) Nautical miles Southeast of Karaikal(India).Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and over the East central Bay of Bengaland partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 01^stFebruary, 2023: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%).Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate  in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet in  off and along MyanmarCoast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi region and Kachin, Northern Shan States.
