SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kayah State, scattered in Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, Mon State, fairly widespread in Sagaing and Yangon Regions, Shan and Kayin States, widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Myitkyina and Hkamti (2.24) inches each. Moekok (2.01) inches, Manaung (1.42) inches, Pyinoolwin (1.38)inches and Belin (1.34)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 15th June, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar water.
