SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway, Bago Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above January average temperatures in Kayah, Mon States and (3°C) above January average temperature in Naypyitaw and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-1°C) in Hakha, (2°C) in Namsam, (3°C) each in Heho and Tiddim, (4°C) each in Loilin and Pyinoolwin and (5°C) each in Putao, Kyaukmae and Pinlaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 05th January, 2023: Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway, Bago Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Generally fair in the whole country.
