SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway, Bago Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (6°C) below January average temperature in Chin State, (2°C) below January average temperatures in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine State and (2°C) above January average temperature in Naypyitaw and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-6°C) in Hakha, (2°C) each in Namsam and Tiddim, (3°C) in Heho, (4°C) in Putao and (5°C) each in Pinlaung, Loilin, Mongyang and Pyinoolwin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 04th January, 2023: Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Chin, Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
