SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain has been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below January average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C) below January average temperatures in Yangon Region and Rakhine State and (2°C) above January average temperature in Kayah State, (3°C) above January average temperature in Naypyitaw and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-2°C) in Hakha,(4°C) each in Heho, Tiddim, Pyinoolwin and Mogoke, (5°C) in Namsam and (6°C) each in Putao, Kyaukmae, Pinlaung, Loilin andFalam.
BAY INFERENCE:Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 03rd January, 2023:Weather will be generally fairin Naypyitaw, LowerSagaing, Magway, Bago Regions and Rakhine State and partly cloudy inthe remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Decrease of night temperatures in Upper SagaingRegion and Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
