SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Eastern Shan State and isolated in Northern Shan State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below December average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Chin State and (2°C) above December average temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan, Kayah, MonStates and (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw and (Southern and Eastern) Shan State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (3°C) each in Namsam and Tiddim, (6°C) each in Loilin and Pyinoolwin and (7°C) each in Putao, Kyaukmae, Heho, Falam, and Tongzan. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.12) inch in Mongyang and (0.04) inch in Kunlong.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 31st December, 2022:Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Eastern Shan State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago Regions and partly cloudy inthe remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
