BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West- Southwestwards and centered at about (630) Nautical miles Southwest of Coco –Island, (730) Nautical miles Southwest of Hainggyigyun(Myanmar), (160) Nautical miles Northeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka), (215) Nautical miles East of Nagappattinam and (255) Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 25th December, 2022: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough sea are likely at time off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
