BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal made a loop and centered at about (605) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco –Island, (705) Nautical miles West- Southwest of Hainggyigyun(Myanmar), (190) Nautical miles East-Northeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka), (235) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Nagappattinam and (270) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 24th December, 2022:Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy inthe remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with moderate to rough sea are likely at time off and along Myanmar Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
