BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (04:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and intisified into a Cyclonic Storm” MANDOUS”. It is centered at about (595) Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island, (705) Nautical miles Southwest of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar), (260) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Jaffna (Sri Lanka) and (325) Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India).Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and partly cloudy over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 8th December, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at time off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35-40) mph.Wave height will be about (9-10) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
