BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards. It is centered at about (570) Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island, (690) Nautical miles Southwest of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar), (305) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Jaffna (Sri Lanka) and (375) Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and cloudy over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 8th December, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, isolated in Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA:Occasionally squalls with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40) mph. Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph.Wave height will be about (9-11) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (7-9) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
