BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Low Pressure Area over South Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal moved west-northwestward and persist over the Southeast Bay of Bengal. It is likely continue to move West-Northwest wards and concentrate into a Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal during next (12) hrs. Thereafter, it is likely to continue to move West-Northwest wards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm and reach North Tamilnadu-Puducherry and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) around (8.12.2022). Weather is partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and North Bay of Bengal and cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 6th December, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squall with rough seas will be in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (9-11) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast and (5-7) feet in off and along Rakhine Coast
