SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Southern Shan, Kayin, Mon State, scattered in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State, isolated in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan State and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above December average temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Kayin, Mon States, (5°C) to (6°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Magway Regions and Southern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States and about December average temperatures in Yangon andTaninthayi Regions. The significant night temperatures were (8°C) in Putao, (9°C) in Hakha and (11°C) each in Machanbaw and Heho. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.78) inches in Dawei, (1.32) inches in Kya-In-Seikkyi, (1.22) inches in Mudon, (0.98) inch in Kyeikmayaw, (0.83) inch in Kungyangon and (0.75) inch in Hpa-an.

BAY INFERENCE:  Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and SouthBay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 2ndDecember, 2022: Weather will be partly cloudy inLower Sagaing Region and Chin State. Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Southern Shan, Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, TaninthayiRegionsand Kachin State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States.Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
