SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan State, scattered in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah State and isolated in Kayin, Mon States. Weather has been generally fair in Upper Sagaing Region and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above November average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Bago Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine States, (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States, (5°C) above November average temperature in (Southern and Eastern)Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (6°C) in Putao, (7°C) in Tiddim, (8°C) in Tongzan and (9°C) in Hakha. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.11) inches in Pathein, (1.06) inches in Myeik, (0.91) inch in Myaungmya, (0.83) inch in Yangon(Botahtaung), (0.67) inch in Kengtung, (0.59) inch in Labutta and (0.35) inch each in Loilin and Coco Island.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure cell over the Eastcentral Bay and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th November, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State, scattered in Ayeyarwady Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan State and isolated in Bago Region and Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining regions and states.
STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
