BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea, Eastcentral Bay and Southeast Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to party cloudy South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure cell over the Eastcentral Bay and adjoining North Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 27th November, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan State, fairly widespread in Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Bago Region and Kayah State and isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine States and isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Lower Myanmar Areas.
