BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea, Eastcentral and Southeast Bay of Bengal and a few cloudelsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure cell over the Andaman Sea is almost stationary and still persists. It is likely forecast to move Northwestwards.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 26th November, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region, scattered in Bago Region and isolated in Naypyitaw, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah states with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon Region. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30) to (35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady,Taninthayi Regions and(Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
