SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Mon State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Chin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below November average temperature in Chin State, (2°C) below November average temperatures in Kachin, Northern Shan States and (2°C) above November average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine, Kayin States, (3°C) above November average temperature in Mon State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) in Hakha, (7°C) in Tiddim, (8°C) each in Putao, Kyaukmae, Namsam, Heho and Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.69) inches in Kawthaung, (0.32) inch in Launglon, (0.19) inch in Myeik and (0.04) inch in Dawei.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea, generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th November, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Chin State and partly cloudy in remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
