SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Southern Shan State, isolated in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States and weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below November average temperature in Kachin State and (2°C) below November average temperature in Northern Shan State and (2°C) above November average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (7°C) in Putao, (8°C) each in Pinlaung and Hakha and (9°C) each in Machanbaw and Tiddim. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.03) inches in Ye, (0.55) inch in Loilin, (0.31) inch in Kawkareik and (0.28) inch in Heho.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwestwards. It is centered at about (570) Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island, (660) Nautical miles Southwest of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar), (275) Nautical miles East of Jaffna (Sri Lanka), (210) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai (India).Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22ndNovember, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairy widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in and Southern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in KayahState. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago,Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions andKachin, Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States and generally fair in remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30) to (35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of scattered to fairy widespread rain or thundershowers in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and(Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayin, Mon States.
